Dakota Cochrane Bangs his way to victory over Eduardo Peralta ~BKFC 33

Middleweight Dakota Cochrane, (3-2, 2 KOs), got back in the winner’s column with a well-earned fifth-round stoppage. He came in really ready to fight. ” I thought it was going to be a little bit easier, it took me a couple rounds to start banging, it’s good to get a fight like that, hopefully the next one will be easier.” said hometown favorite Dakota Cochrane, with a smile, about his very worthy opponent Eduardo Peralta.

Cochrane said that he trained a little differently for this bout because he was trying to let his hands rest from previous matches. His strategy going in was to clinch up with Peralta and wear him out a bit. Cochrane said, “Peralta was really tough, and it took all of five rounds to finally dig out the win.”

Knockdowns and knockouts were the theme of the night across the entire Bare Knuckle fight card at BKFC 33, as hometown fighters thrilled the capacity crowd inside Liberty First Credit Union Arena just outside of Omaha Nebraska.

The Cruiserweight Headline event featured undefeated Houston Alexander convincingly winning by TKO over Joey Beltran at 38 seconds into the second round.

In other action, Carlos Trinidad-Snake won by a tough decision over Rynell Riley. The drag out bout saw both fighters scoring knockdowns early in the fight.

Sean Wilson took his combat skills into the squared circle against UFC veteran Kevin Croom in the co-headline event and was knocked out only 30 seconds into the second round by the wildly impressive Croom.

In ladies bare knuckle action, Doctor Sarah Shell, originally from the Omaha area was calm, cool and collected as she sized up opponent Audra Cummings with a lethal series of left-right combinations to score a second round Knockout.

When asked to sum up the evening, Shook said, “we had a really supportive crowd, great fight action and look forward to coming back in 2023.”

BKFC 32 Undercard Has Brandon Allen Defeating Josh Marer In Round 3 With A Huge Right Hand

Brandon “Superman” Allen KO’d Josh “Danger” Marer in the 3rd Round at BKFC Orlando with a devastating right hand. When asked what he knew about his opponent going into the fight, he says he didn’t know much, and his team helped him win with their support and knowledge. They kept saying to Allen, “Follow up, follow up, follow up!”

He says he learned, “If you want to be a dog, you’re gonna lose,” and “you gotta know how to pick your shots and be patient.”

Allen is in a 2 fight winning streak, and when asked if he thinks he deserves to be in contendership, he says he “just wants to keep stacking em up!” He says Bareknuckle is everything to him and helps him provide for his family. “Gym, family and God!” he exclaims.

Joey Beltran is Ready to Make a Statement When He Fights Houston Alexander at BKFC 33

We’re less than a week away from the BKFC 33 Omaha event, and what better way to kick off your weekend than with a fight between two of MMA’s most respected veterans? Joey Beltran will be taking on Houston Alexander in the main event of BKFC Omaha, which takes place Friday, November 18th.

Beltran last fought Houston Alexander in 2010, and says that’s what started this wild ride! When asked about his preparation for this upcoming fight, he said he changed up his nutrition but has always had a “great workload” and cardio training. He also said he’s ready and “looking to dominate the fight at any range.”

In a featherweight grudge match Thompson and Diaz took home Fight Of The Night Honors at BKFC 32. When asked how he secured the amazing 5 round win, Travis “The Animal” Thompson replies, “All I did was box him.” Travis says he tried to antagonize David “El Perro Necio” Diaz to get him to “come to me,” but Diaz was smart and tried to stay away. Thompson stuck with his right-hand jabs and left hooks, finding Diaz to be a very tough fighter who “did a good job.”

“The Lion Came Out To Eat”-JR Ridge On His 5 Round Battle With Chancey Wilson At BKFC 32

JR “The Lion” Ridge talks to Bare Knuckle News about his tough bantamweight match with Chancey “Supaflyy” Wilson. In the 1st Round there was hesitation on the part of both fighters as they were learning each other’s strategy, followed by a good bit of back and forth with both taking hits. In the 2nd round, Wilson’s knuckle hit Ridge directly in the eye, so Ridge had to adjust his stance and fight on the outside to avoid Wilson’s jabs. The back-and-forth action continued in the 3rd and 4th rounds. Then, in the 5th round, his corner said, “This is it!” Ridge says after hitting Wilson, he saw blood and “the lion came out to eat!” Ridge won the bout against Wilson in a unanimous decision.

When asked who he would like to fight next, he mentions John Dodson. But, what he would like most is a shot at the Title!​
